  Get Off Junk
Mailing Lists

Just a Couple Simple Steps
Getting off junk mail lists can be as easy as sending in a letter, a post card, an email, or maiking a phone call to the source. To get your name off the top mail lists in the nation, please follow these three simple steps

Step One
Go to to the Opt-Out program of the Center for Democracy website. This program walks you through a three simple steps to help you get off junk mail lists. After asking you to select which lists you wish to opt out of and having you to fill in some basic information, the program generates several letters which you can mail to various organizations to get your name removed from their lists.

Note: you will need a printer hooked up to your computer in order to print the letters.

The site will open into another browser window. Simply close the Center for Democracy window when you are finished and come back to complete Step Two.
